Mango Pentagon City - Arlington, Virginia

Mango engaged Domoarchitecture to deliver a 5,600-square-foot store at Pentagon City Center, one of the Washington D.C. metro area’s highest-traffic shopping destinations. As with their other expansion locations, they needed complete project management from landlord coordination through store opening.

The challenge: execute a fast-track retail buildout in a major regional mall, managing landlord approvals, permitting, contractor selection, and construction oversight to meet Mango’s aggressive expansion schedule.

We provided full-service delivery: navigating Pentagon City’s landlord requirements, securing building permits, competitively bidding the project to control costs, and administering construction to maintain quality and timeline. This end-to-end approach eliminated coordination gaps and kept the project moving efficiently.

The result: three-month completion from construction start in April 2024 to store opening in July 2024. Mango added another location to their growing U.S. footprint on time and on budget, reinforcing the systems and relationships that make their multi-store rollout successful.
